Manage and overcome the risks associated with this condition

Testicular cancer is a disease in which cancer cells form in the tissues of one or both testicles. According to the National Cancer Institute, testicular cancer is very rare and is most frequently diagnosed in men younger than 34.

There are two main types of testicular cancer: germ cell tumors and stromal tumors. In addition, both types have subtypes. Germ cell tumors are the most common type of testicular cancer, accounting for over 90 percent of testicular cancer.

There is no standard or routine screening test used for the early detection of testicular cancer. Most often, testicular cancer is first found by men themselves, either by chance or during self-exam. Sometimes the cancer is found by a physician during a routine physical exam.

Testicular cancer responds very well to radiation therapy treatment and the disease has a high five-year survival rate of 95%.

Highly Focus, Outpatient Radiation Treatment

Radiation therapy offers a non-invasive, safe, and effective option

Precisely Targeted
Radiation therapy allows for highly focused radiation treatment, reducing the risk of damage to surrounding healthy tissue
Quick recovery time
Radiation therapy has fewer side effects and is typically performed as an outpatient procedure so patients can often return to normal activities within a few days
Improved Cure Rates
Radiation therapy is often used in combination with surgery or chemotherapy. When used appropriately, radiation can significantly improve a patient’s chance of cure
